#asktheexpert hi doc, my 15months old boy urine is always dark yellow in colour. Is that fine? How much water should be fed to a 15months old.?

A. You can give around 500 ml water to the child and also more liquids can be given in the form of soups home made juices coconut water nimbu paani butter milk

A. It's acceptable to supplement with water at this time. However, assuming adequate formula or breast milk intake, your child may not need more than 2 to 4 ounces of water over a 24-hour period. Water is traditionally introduced through a sippy cup.
