Q.

#AskTheExpert hi doc, I had caesarean delivery 5 months back. my back still aches a lot while holding my baby or when I do house chores by bending. I can't bend for more than 2 mins. also aches when I sleep. I haven't started any exercise yet but I do house chores like sweeping, mopping.

A. You’re not supposed to do any bending or even mopping the floor or any activity that will put extra pressure on your abdomen until six months after surgery. As far as the back ache is concerned it is because of the hormonal changes and you can use a Tummy belt for supportWrite Your Answer Here

A. U Actually should start with the sizes whenever you deliver even with C-section or while you deliver it with a normal delivery it’s very important you have to lie down and do stretching of your legs so that the pain subsides over the period you should consult your gynaecologist and a yoga doctor
