Q.

#AskTheExpert Hi doc, i am 3 months 19 days PP.. had a c-section delivery. I also had my first period..before pregnancy I was using a menstrual cup during periods..but now when I started using my cup, I felt pain & tightness to insert it. what would be the reason? should I shift myself to one size bigger?

A. Hi yes you should check the size of the menstrual over using it must be because of the size issues generally uterus contracted after delivery that is in next six weeks so there might be any muscle changes in your body so you should change the size of the menstrual cup

A. After the delivery if you are doing exercise exercises your pelvic muscles can become tight and that is why this may be happening so you can go for a bigger cup if you want but prior to that I would recommend you to check with your doctor is it safe to use menstrual cup as of now
