#asktheexpert hello sir my son is continuously chewing his finger nails from the last 5 months and also trying to eat sand sometime...what to do....

NikithaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. hello this can be due to calcium deficiency and it would be better to try distract your child from biting the nails as the child must have been habituated and any concern then it would be better to check with your doctor and she will be able to guide you accordingly
