A. try to interact more with baby..try using interractive toys the expectant pause:- do an activity and say a repetitive word.. eg- use a pillow, slam the baby slowly by saying ready steady go..now do this 5-6 time on the next time when you do it say ready steadyyyyy....and wait for the child to say go..make sure he is in a playful mood.. eg- turn him upside down by doing the same ready steady go words again.. peek-a-boo is a strong way to make him repeat.. stopping short during a familiar sound:- sing along pr another way for expectant pause.. eg- play ring around the rosies or sing old McDonald had a farm and after singing for a while let him sing.. dont anticipate with all needs:- think the other way being a mother you know what he exactly needs but if you give him what he actually needs before why would he speak to you..so even of you know what he wants try to act confused and let him say it.. eg- if he ask for something act confused and ask him you want what..that but what..say you want and pause let him say it.. sabotage:- put up opportunities around the house for communication eg-keep his favourite toy visible but out of reach..let him ask for one.. or eat his favourite snack in front of him without offering and let him communicate meal/snack opportunity:- let them ask for needs eg- give them a little amount of snacks they like or only little food and tell them if you want more say 'more' or any other word you think they might say.. get silly:- play with your little one..this is most effective and fast learning way.. eg- use animal puppet and talk..make animal sounds they would find it cool and join you.. eg- play with cars make sounds such as vroooommm, beep beep, and crash give out pieces:- be in control with games that have manier pieces such as puzzles and car sets.. eg- when they sit to play such games don't put them on the floor..keep them in your hands under your control and let them say what piece they want instead of making it easier for tgem to grab tge next piece encourage their attempt:- appreciate everything they do.. eg- even if they say 'o' instead of 'go' yet say very good..yipeeeee.. ban t.v or phones:- biggest cause for communication delay is use of phones or t.v because it teaches new things but doesn't have any interaction.. stop giving your child phone let them play with you communicate with you.. important note:- your time and interaction is the only way to help your child..engage them in your day to day routine and communicate even if they dont respond they will but it requires patience to let them learn..

A. Their language abilities may be developing at a slower rate than most children's. They may have trouble expressing themselves or understanding others. Their delay may involve a combination of hearing, speech, and cognitive impairments. Language delays are quite common.
