#AskTheExpert hello sir I'm a mother of a 1month baby boy now I'm suffering from mastitis abscess in my left side breast. can give I breast feed in left side to my baby?? is it safe

A. Your Gynecologist will give you the proper guidance regarding this after doing a proper examination and then only some needful advice cghan be given regarding this . so please consult your doctor once. Ine general you should take a healthy diet for yourself with plenty of liquids and also get a routine check up done

A. Even if you have an infection, breastfeeding won't harm your baby (although your milk may taste a little salty). Make sure your baby is latched on properly and aim to feed 8 to 12 times a day (including at night).
