#AskTheExpert Hello my son got his MMR shot on December 14 after 6 days he got fever and developed rash on the forehead I gave paracetamol and the fever settled on that day itself and January 6 he got fever only at night for past 4 days no other complaints no cough no foci of any other infection the fever settled now but the rash doesn't fade away is it due to MMR vaccine

A. the rashes on attached poc is not due to mmr vaccines. sudden appearance of rashes is quite common post fever. It is often due to a viral infection. . It will usually go in a few days itself. There is no specific treatment for the rash. Apply Lacto callamine.
