#AskTheExpert Hello mam My son is having red eyes he is 14 months old this is like conjunctivitis. We have already consulted the Dr and started giving him eye drops since last two days. still his eyes are red how long it will take to get back to the normal??????

A. already consulted with the doctor he has given the eye drop and one antibiotic syrup. today is 3rd day we are hoping it will get better by today. he is rubbing his eyes and eyes are red.

A. Eye Redness is commonly seen because of some allergic condition , infection or any trauma which needs proper examination. if it is associated with some discharge it could be infection but no self medication should be used. if thte baby is continuously rubbing the eye or there is any swelling it indicates irritation and inflammation for which you need to you get your baby clinically examined so consult your doctor once.
