#AskTheExpert Hello Mam,I am currently 37 weeks pregnant,.From two days I have sufferring from severe itching on whole body...I have been applying coconut oil,moisturizer,caladryl lotion but no relief,especially in the evening and night it becomes worse,what medicine should I take,is ursodeoxylic acid molecule good

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. it can be because of hormonal changes, Apply fresh aloe vera gel to the affected skin for 15 to 20 minutes, do apply ice cube also.. to get instant relief, further it's preferable to visit your doctor, for further evaluation and exact treatment or management.

stop oily spicy food.
med you mentioned..is the right one but take after consulting doc. my doc gave me the same 3 times a day (max dose)
I dis everything coco oil, aloe vera need leaves, lacto calamine
at last what helped me , delivery...after delivering the baby it vanished like magic....I cam out of labour room and itching was gone.

Pooja Handa ChoudharyMom of a 3 yr 2 m old girl2 years agoA. hi, you may try having Cetirizine 10 mg tablets. My gynaecologist recommended same when I had this issue, that time I was 7 months pregnant.

Itching is very much normal in pregnancy.
We cannot give medicine until prescribed by the gynecologist as u are pregnant.
U Can take cetrazine only if prescribed by the doctor to get relief from itching
