A. The bleeding generally stops within 4 to 6 weeks after delivery. You should wear pads, not tampons, as nothing should go in the vagina for six weeks. If you had a C-section or tubal ligation, it is normal to have a small amount of pink, watery drainage from the incision. Keep the incision clean and dry.
