#AskTheExpert Hello Dr. My son will turn 4 in Oct. He has built decent vocabulary however he is unable to converse in general. He speaks 2 3 words together. Since he does not reciprocate much we are not sure if he understands everything. He responds to typical questions well

needs to visit speech therapist for once.
so please visit speech therapist.
at home , encourage your child by conversing with him more.
talk with your child about your whole day activities ,read stories with your child and ask simple questions in between ,it will help.
please limit your child screen time
