#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor my baby is 8 months old she is wearing diaper all the times however she is peeing a lot now a days hence the diapers are getting wet quite often and due to which she is catching a cold any suggestions or any specific diaper ?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Diaper should be change frequently and not used more than 3 to 4 hours or if the diaper is soiled it should be change immediately also try to use a diaper with super absorbent jelly which will be more helpful in reducing the rashes diaper should not be used very frequentluiy also use zinc oxide barrier diaper rash creams to avoid contact of urine with the skin
Also maintain proper hygiene and avoid dampness which can cause secondary fungal infection.
