#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor, My baby is 2.5 months old and is exclusively breast fed.Please let me know if i can take covid vaccine (covaxin).If i take vaccine then after how much time can i feed the baby?

According to new studies it is totally safe to get vaccinated if you are a lactating mother. So yes you can take vaccination if you are breastfeeding your baby. And after getting vaccinated you can continue breastfeeding there are no issues. Within one or two hours gap you can continue breastfeeding. So go and get vaccination shot on your scheduled date and time
