#AskTheExpert is it fine if my 1 month old who is exclusively fed on breast milk does not poop in 5 days sir,but passes gas and urinate too. Thank you Sir

A. this is normal behaviour of the baby it s normal for the baby to not pass stools daily as digestion can be different for everyone . If baby does not pass stool even upto 1 week it s not to worry. If more than 1 week and baby has discomfort can use glycerine suppository for relief. No syrup is given for this below 2 years
