#AskTheExpert hello doctor my baby have from yesterday and even cold giving her paracetamol Syrup it is like fever going and coming wt to do she is 8 and half month

A. Hello, your baby girl is 8 months old and she is having a cold and her body is warm so give her syrup maxtra 1.5 ml three times a day

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which neecdds treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
