#AskTheExpert Hello doctor my baby girl is now 11 months old , she didn't roll over until 9 months , in 10 months I practiced her tummy time then she started rolling over n she sits independently on her own n sits without support , now started to stand by pulling sofa cover n stands with support of sofa . she stands without support for 1 sec ....she is not crawling n not dragging to reach the toys ...I'm worrying that she walks or not ..does she able to walk ?

A. sitting without support and crawling in children may sometimes come after one year of age also. if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry. just take care of regular diet and baby massage which will help in strengthening the musczles needed for sitting and crawling. in some cases crawling may be absent in children and directly the child will begin to stand with support and later walk with support and then without support. take a mezdical check up done to confirm if there is need of any intervention.
