#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor, my 1 year 1 month baby girl is waking up at night many times and without breastfeeding she doesn't sleep again. so I have to feed her many times in night. Is this ok? How many times baby should be breastfeed at this age, and how many times normally she can wake up at night?

A. hi it is common problem among breastfed babies so don't worry. just offer heavy meal like sheera, rab etc at night time meal which will help to decrease the night time waking frequency. ensure that your child feel comfortable while sleeping dress your child in weather appropriate clothes. try to wean your child from breastfeeding but do it gradually. I mean, make feeding sessions short gradually. try to put your child for sleep back by gently patting or rubbing his or her back . keep your child hydrated. maintain good hygiene
