A. Experiencing panic when unable to move your legs after spinal anesthesia is a valid concern, especially during a C-section. It's essential to communicate these concerns with your healthcare provider before the procedure. They can offer various strategies to help manage your anxiety, such as relaxation techniques, distraction methods, or even medication to help you stay calm during the procedure. Regarding the choice between spinal and general anesthesia, it's essential to discuss your concerns and preferences with your healthcare provider. General anesthesia might eliminate the sensation of being unable to move your legs, but it comes with its own set of risks and considerations. Your healthcare provider can help weigh the pros and cons and determine the best option for you based on your medical history and individual needs.
