once baby completes 6 months, you can start with weaning foods like rice water, dal water, fruits puree, vegetables puree, smashed banana, boiled and smashed potato, clear veg soup, porridge, homemade cerelac, etc along with breastfeeding.
feed baby on regular intervals after 2 hours
follow good hygiene
avoid force feeding and overfeeding.

slowly and gradually increase the intake..
remember to introduce one new food one at a time..
