#AskTheExpert good morning sir,mera baby 6month ka honga bt use daily motion nhi ho rhr h,pichli baar usne 6din ke baad motion huye the,wo bhi glycerin suppository ki wajah se,fir bhi uske baad bhi 4ya 5 din ke baad hi motion ho rhi h,or iske liye bhi glycerin suppository hi use karna padta h,to ab kya kare sir...plz advise

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. this is normlamfor the baby. During infancy the baby may not motion on daily basis. It may be alternate day or may be up to 7 days . Glycerine suppository may be used for the lubrication if baby not passing motion .

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Some babies pass stools once in four or five days while some pass even more than five times a day which are perfectly normal in breastfed babies. Touch and feel the baby's tummy. If it's hard or the baby is cranky or crying more than usual then u should consult with ur pediatrician. If not u can wait upto seven days.
