Q.

#AskTheExpert Good evening doctor.... my mother in law was infected with covid nd I came to my mother's house to isolate myself nd specially my daughter who is 1 yr 9months old. it's like a joint family nd my sister in law nd her grown up children were also infected. my mother in law is still recovering with little oxygen support nd she's having cough. it has been approximately 2 months that she got covid nd she got discharged 20 days back nd still with oxygen. can I know when it is safe to go back to my house. I'm a bit worried to go nd stay with all of them as everyone was infected. what care can I take for my daughter. please nd thank you

A. most of the times after two weeks of starting of covid infection there may not be any replication of the virus and there is no problem in approaching are coming into contact with the person
