#asktheexpert during teething why does kids get I'll like loose motion, fever, weakness and all?

A. Loose motion most of the time is because of some infection which could be viral or bacterial and in such case it is associated with symptoms like fever along with vomiting and loss of appetite . supportive treatment is very necessary where proper hydration should be maintained by giving ORS along with that probiotigdc can be given like enterogermina or econorm in a proper dose . Antibiotics has their role only if it is bacterial infection . for this doctor guidance is necessary .

A. Hi mom This is due to pain in gums. Babies they tend to put everything in the mouth that is around. This causes loose motions due to infection and weekness. Give ur baby teethers as they put pressure on gums and give relief to baby from pain
