#asktheexpert Dr Sameer, my son 5 month old, from recent blood test I have noticed that platelets count is 648000 which is higher than normal. So, kindly suggest if there is any medication/precautions to be followed to reduce the count?

A. u repeat test. better to show to specialist always as they get the correct diagnosis. try to avoid self and extra medication that will only complicate this and create more damage to the child
