#AskTheExpert Doctor my baby boy is 5 weeks old and he is only drinking milk from a bottle. He is not having breast feed. so I am pumping my milk through a manual breast pump and feeding the baby. Even I am having back pain due to which I am unable to sit for long time. So I am thinking of having an electric breast pump. Can you please advice whether electric brest pump is safe or not and please suggest which company is better kindly

A. yes you can use electric breast pump of any good quality like Philips event but avoid any kind of bottle feeding it is safe to use breast pump because you maintain good hygiene then there is no problem
