#AskTheExpert dear sir my daughter has got a fever 102.slightly cough and cold. resulting weakness. pls advise

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. the first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having. give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food. keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as feverd to body sponge to decrease the surface temperature and should be carried out for at least 20 minutes with normal temperature water. higher dmedicines whether required or not will be told by the doctor.

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and in fever and cough babies get weakness and please give baby doctor prescribed medication and also give baby variety of food so that baby do not feel weak. Take care
