A. When babies are hungry they will show this by crying. Sometimes, even if they are hungry, they can sleep too but not for longer. You need to make sure to feed in every 2-3 hours to avoid it. To increase breastmilk supply, include protein and other nutritious foods like fenugreek seeds, cumin, carom seeds, legumes, ghee, dalia, dry fruits, eggs, chicken, garlic, brown rice, broccoli, beans, fennel seeds, oats and milk. While nursing, keep massaging the breasts and katch baby frequently as supply largely depends on the demand.
