#AskTheExpert Can I eat curd while breastfeeding My baby is 1.5mnths old and my mohter says eating curd can cause cold/congestion to the baby Is it so?

A. yes of course curd buttermilk yogurt a breastfeeding mother can safely take ..prefer at room temperature Mother's milk is a complete food for the baby that is why it is always recommended to exclusively breastfeed the baby till first six months post birth. The initial portion contains the watery foremilk that takes care of hydration and the later portion that is the hind milk takes care of nutrition and is rich in fats. So there is no requirement of giving any kind of juice or water to the baby

A. Hi parent it is not true please take well balance diet with adequate quantity of water and sleep well please maintained hygiene properly with Babyhug multipurpose cleaner
