Q.

#AskTheExpert baby is having high cold and cough. her medication is going on. while sleeping her nose/throat gets blocked due to mucus may be and she feels difficulty in breathing. what can be done to relieve her.

A. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given. alongd with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine bh given. steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

Hi parent Some helpful home remedies keep a bowl full of chopped onion near her bed approx three feet far over night take sunbathing daily with her head and ears covered in the morning don't.use demineralized water use simply purified water having tds higher than 350 you may give her a spoon of lukewarm water Every hour in the day time
