Q.

#AskTheExpert As Water for newborn baby should be avoided for atleast six months. Then how it is okay to give formula milk which is given by mixing water? or is it because we mix hot water to form a formula milk so it is safe? do we need to boil water or warm water is fine for formula milk? please answer all the questions. Hope a doctor answer this question and not any random people just for the sake of contests

A. To prepare formula milk as medium is use to dissolve formula milk powder,, water is best, that's why their is a proper ratio we use to prepare formula milk. using well boiled water is important to avoid infection, during preparation water temp should be room temperature or like warm.. not warm or hot, or else formula will loss it's nutrients

A. try to help you.. yes dear it is important to exclusively breast feed for six months, mother milk is sufficient to meet baby hydration needs.. water after six months.. boil the water well and then cool then use to prepare formula milk..
