#AskTheExpert Actually in the starting I got excess milk secretion and now it decreased. And also when I am feeding from one side I am getting pain in the another side

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist2 years agoA. dear mum initially when baby is born there is a hormonal surge and body is also getting use to the suckling by the baby so milk production is higher than what baby may require
but later on body is able to strick the balance based on baby intake and milk production is accordingly regulated
so do not worry
if baby is active alert passing urine 6 to 8 times in 24 hours is gaining adequate weight then milk pr is sufficient
