Q.

#asktheexpert A baby girl was born on 23rd Nov. Hospital staff gave the polio drop to the baby before discharge. I want to know if it is necessary to give any shot or injection within some days of birth. At present, I am feeding her with Pre NAN as she was underweight at the time of birth. please suggest to me what is necessary.

A. yes it is advisable to give all the vaccines on time and maintain a proper vaccination schedule for the baby to avoid any chances of diseases in future give adequate breastfeeding every 2 hourly for first two months and after that on demand

A. If you want to get it done you can there is no harm in it because initial five years are very crucial so if you get done drops also an injection done also then there is no problem with that it’s completely safe the Dr is always better to be sure when it comes to polio
