Somali SinghMom of a 3 yr 1 m old boy2 years agoA. Hi here are few recipes you may want to add in your baby’s diet -
Vegetables stewed and mashed
1) sweet potato
2) beet root
3) carrots
Khichdi - with daal Chawal hing and jeera (both crushed and a pinch of it) . You can try and add vegetables- 1 or two at max to increase the taste like / carrot, beans, broccoli…the khichdi should mashed so that the little one doesn’t gag!
You can introduce soups - broccoli, daal palak, carrot tomato or only tomato.
The spices of choice at this time are a pinch of turmeric, ginger and black pepper.
Please avoid Red or green chili and avoid sugar and salt
Also some sweet dish could be given like dalia ki kheer, suji or oats porridge. To make it sweet use a pinch of organic gud (jaggery)
Not sure about introducing non veg as this time since these are very initial months of the baby to start with food.
Sarika guptaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and please give baby moong dal soup khichadi daliya suji items mashed potatoes apple and banana and also fish and egg should be start after the age of eight months.
