Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and some enzryme preparattions in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

Neelam sharmaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. this is common in some infants they pass motion once in few days while some pass daily 2 to 3 times also. if you feel other symptoms like baby is cranky, not eating well , not sleeping well then do consult with your paedrician regarding this once
