Q.

#askthedoctor which food items should be avoided when we are starting weaning. Is salt totally restricted during 1st yr of life.

A. yes, avoid salt n sugar till 1 year.. initially give single grain or single ingredient food only.. avoid non veg, eggs, oranges, tomatoes, strawberry, honey, cabbage, pulses rather than moong dal.. should be avoided.

A. hi dear Babies and young children shouldn't eat hot dogs, nuts, seeds, round candies, popcorn, hard, raw fruits and vegetables, grapes, or peanut butter. These foods aren't safe and may cause your child to choke.
