#askthedoctor hi sir my daughter is having cold , I visited the doctor and he suggested few syrups for a week days .... week days has been completed even she s having cold can I give her the medication for another two days or have to stop

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. no problem you're the medicines for another two days Cold and cough in small babies are because of viral infections you have to treat them symptomatically with steam inhalation and saline drops in the nose of the baby e they will subside generally in a week's time

you can not stop or continue any medicine without consulting your pediatrician.
you must inform your treating doctor and give Medicine as per your doctor's prescription.
at home, please keep your child well hydrated
