Askthe expert Mam meri pragnancy just confirm hui h to mera question tha ki kya m Corona vaccine le skti hu 1st dose muje lg gyi thi March me tb pragnent nhi thi but second dose me confustion h so plzz. help me vaccine le ya nhi

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. any Covid vaccine like covishield or covaxin or sputnik can be given safely to nursing mothers and pregnant women as per the latest recommendation which is approved by government of India.children are not included in this list.trials are still going on but proper confirmation regarding this is not yet done by the govt.it may take some more time.till then children need to be kept under full safety precautions and given a good balanced diet n supplements for good immunity and other vaccines done timely.
Nursing mothers can feed their child as soon as required after the vaccination very safely.it has no adverse effects on the baby.in case of any pain or fever after vaccination,tab dolo can be taken which is safest in this period.it will be a better way to consult your gynecologist as she will be able to tell you in details and you can clear all your further queries and get proper treatment suggestions so please consult for proper guidance.
