Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. straining while passing urine and stool is very normal before completion of 6 months of age.
sometimes this can continue for onde year of age also.
it usually occurs due to the distention of the urinary bladder and rectum of the child.
the sensation is new for the child that's why the child is cryingd
if you feel that the crying is more than normal you should visit a pediatrician for examination.
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. Newborns may cry while urinating because they are experiencing some level of discomfort. Paediatricians generally believe that this is normal; the bladder stretches as it fills up, putting pressure on the bladder. This should not be painful or cause for concern.
