#askdoctors how long should i breastfeed my baby? and how do i know my baby is getting enough breast milk?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. ideal breastfeeding should be given till 2 year of age but due to any problem if you want to to stop it before that you can start giving proper meals to your baby after one year of age and stop it

Hi It said that if you have a good amount of breastfeeding you should actually be till the age of one year minimum and if your child is full for about 120 minutes after taking a breastfeeding from you then that is quite an indication it said that whatever breastfeeding you are giving is sufficient for the child
