In COMPLEMENTARY FEEDING start with two rules
Rule number 1 is that you have to give the food in the form which the child can swallow
Rule number 2 is that always give a new food for for 5 to 6 days to see whether the child is able to digest that food or not as well as it will help in creating the taste in the child.
you can gradually start all types of food made from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits. You have to start initially with less amount and gradually you can increase the amountDIET : - it is very important to give all types of food made from cereals (RICE WHEAT and other) pulses (DAL) vegetable milk and fruits to the child and this will only help in increasing the growth weight height immunity of the child.
YOU CAN GO FOR ANY RECIPES AND FLAVOURS AND TASTE ACCORDING TO THE THE PREFERENCE OF THE CHILD.
Start with small quantity and gradually increase the quantity.
you can go for different colour plates as well as different size plates to make eating more attractive.
Also it is very important to rule out nutritional deficiency in your child because that is one of the most common cause of loss of appetite in the child.

I would just say that to begin with you should go for rice and Dal water because it is the lightest for a child to have an easy to digest move that is the right option to go for and rice water when you boil the rice remaining water you can give to the child and start with 3 to 4 teaspoons at a point of time two times in a day like one time Dal water and then rise water and after 3 to 4 days you can introduce variety of fruits to the child in terms of pure or mashing them and then you can switch to vegetable purée mashed banana mashed potato Paneer cheese curd Suji products like Halwa Obama completely depends how can you variate the recipes if you need any help you can search it on YouTube as well
