#ask the expert. hello mam, am having cracked nipples. as of now applying coconut oil and wiping with cotton cloth while feeding. have nipcare too. but still have some burning sensation and pain though. can u plz advise ?

if you feel discomfort or pain , you may use nippple shield whike feeding ur baby.
allow her a proper latch.

SanthoshiMom of a 1 yr 9 m old girl1 Year agoA. try to apply breast milk over the affected area after every feed. Also massage your nipples with olive oil everyday before bath it would be alright. You can even use warm compress for good instant relief take care and see doctor if needed
