As per the WHO advisory, below are the medicines are dangerous to use for treating cold and cough. when we have consulted our local pediatrician for our baby illness due to cold and cough, he suggested to use "MAKOFz-LS Junior" syrup. Is it safe to use the suggested Medicine?

See if your doctor has given you the medicines they would have a better knowledge I do not know what are the standings of WHO for certain things because if you go as per WHO standards than I think nothing would be available in India to be used because it is like most of the things are not associated properly by WHO standards so just asked your doctor and go for that
