Q.
am 36 weeks pregnant I have thyroid issues so am taking 50mg and 12.5mg tablets from day 1 of my pregnancy but from last 10days I have taken expired 12.5mg tablets(expire on oct 2022) will that affect baby,what can I do now

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. Now since you have taken the tablet please do not get stressed out and get a proper examination done by your doctor if needed do a sonography to know about babies condition will and also get your thyroid level checked

You should just immediately consult your gynaecologist because expired medicines can have a lot of side-effects so it is better that one time will check with your doctor whatever it is and according to that only they will be able to give you a appropriate help on that
