Q.
almost a month my three year daughter is having cold cough..no medicine is curing it, tried all what drs prescribed relent, sinarest ...what shoul I do no fever just cold cough

Author of questionGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. thank u dr, is this not going to effect her life style, she's not able to sleep due to cough, giving honey, pepper steam all possible, but no relief, I even cut hair shot

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. it is in diagnosis of allergic cough cold . here the child will have regular cough and cold which is usually not associated with fever . it increases and decreases but does not get cured completely. dr will give anti allergic medicine usually motelukast / levocetirizine. if its still not improving the gnext line of treatment will be inhaler therapy with mdi / nebulizer. allergy can be environmental (temperature variation -hot to coldf weather/ cold water intake / dust / smoke / pollens) , food , chocolate / packet preservatives food and sweet food also. body cannot sustain such allergic changes leading to cough cold usually at evening /night and morning.
