Q.

9-12 month ka jo vaccine lgta hai pneumonia ka kya usme fever aa jata hai kya becoz mere baby ko aa gga hai but unhone kaha tha fever nhi ayega

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again reqvduired and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever

A. Immunizations (vaccines) protect your child against serious diseases. Pain, redness and swelling are normal where the shot was given. Most symptoms start within the first 12 hours after the shot was given. Redness and fever starting on day 1 of the shot is always normal.
