For a 2-year-4-month-old baby with a running nose for the past 10 days, you can try the following gentle home remedies: Steam inhalation: Let your baby inhale mild steam (from a bowl or humidifier) for a few minutes to loosen mucus. Always do this under close supervision. Saline nasal drops: Use doctor-recommended saline drops to clear the nose gently. Tulsi and honey: For babies above 1 year, a few drops of warm tulsi juice with a little honey can help soothe the throat and ease congestion (once or twice a day). Warm liquids: Offer warm water, soups, or herbal decoctions like ajwain (carom seeds) water to keep the baby hydrated and help clear mucus. Elevate head while sleeping: Keep the baby's head slightly elevated while sleeping to help with breathing. If the runny nose continues beyond 10–12 days, or if there is fever, cough, or breathing difficulty, consult a pediatrician.
