Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. gradually you'll have to start all types of homemade food made from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits. you can start with dal and then gradually shift to khichdi and halwa and give fruits gradually. it is important to see the form and the child should be able to swallow the food properly. also you should observe that you are giving only one new food in 48 hours so that if the child develops any type of allergy then you will have to avoid that particular food

Hello ma’am You can start with rice Dal water followed by my sweet potato Khichdi porridge vegetable soup vegetable purée pumpkin soup all kind of fruits available in the market on room temperature oats Suji ragi Suji Kheer cheese Paneer curd you can do everything to your child. Apart from that a lot of paediatrician say no to use salt sugar from the beginning itself and we should use it after one year but my doctor advised me to use it after six months it is completely your choice
