1.are vaccine safe for my baby? 2.my babys upcoming vaccine is MMR , so what are the components present in it? 3. are not childhood disease beneficial?? because when we were kids we got mums,poxes etc why to introduce vaccine for that ??

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. vaccine is very important to increase the immunity of the body. very important to complete the course of vaccination which come before 5 years of age because this is the age group in which children are prone to vaccine preventable diseases.
contact your doctor who will tell you which vaccines are important for your child and which vaccines are optional.
optional vaccine only depends upon the immunity status of the child as well as upon the endemic diseases of your area
mmr stands for measles mumps and rubella.
you have to give three dosage of this vaccine at 9 months of age then at 15 months of age and at 5 years of age.
vitamin a is usually given along with mmr vaccine.
at present government covers only mr vaccine while in private mmr vaccine is available.d
mr vaccine stands for measles and rubella.
at present in governmentf set up only mr vaccine so mumps is not covered in mr vaccine.
