A Boy Child or a Girl Child have been treated differently since ages. A desire of having a 'Son' rather than a 'Daughter' is still there in most parts of the country.Does it really matter for you? Why do you think our society has this preference for having Son rather than Daughter?

This is a very old yet very common in our society & It will never go away from the people’s mind...
Wanting a boy child doesn’t define anyone’s mentality but the society where we are living has opened all possible ways of boys,whereas,girls have to go through a lot many challenges in her life..My mother has only a single daughter & family ,society had or stil have the tendency of discrimination which is wrong!! Had she been a mother of a boy,ppl would have had different opinions for her ...That is why everyone wants a boy child & a girl child too...

For a mother it doesn't matter wather it's a boy or girl, but in so many ways society make us to think that if we would have a boy it would be good. So the society needs to be charged. And who are the people of this society. I , you, they. so it starts with " i " . so if everyone one should think I will change my thoughts. Than the better society will build. differentiation in gender is a very old thought of our indian society. it will change slowly. at least new generation should not differentiate in gender in any condition. so we will make n see a better future for our girl n boy child. what I see is now a days girls mother think I will raise my girl like a boy she can do everything which we think a boy only do. so girls are changing. but there are less boy mother who thinks boy should do everything which we think only girls do. at least for their survival girl or boy should learn everything. if girl can learn Driving n nothing shame in that then why boy can't learn cooking with out shame. we don't appreciate a boy if he is cooking we say it's a garls things. what I mean to say is boys mother should also know that if she won't change her boy she will be responsible for all wrong things which he ll do with his wife. he won't help in cooking n not in house chores and tease her wife this is your work why should I do. so change toys boys also. Girls mother's have lot of fire 🔥 inside their hart to change her daughter. but everything will fail if boys won't change.

Getting a healthy baby is a blessing. Both girls and boys are giving so much happiness in life so that they the life of parents. They increase the bonding in the family. Both girls and boys love their parents. All the need is society has to understand it. Happy to be a part of such family and mother of baby girl

No it doesn't matter for me . I want a baby girl but I blessed a baby boy I happy wid him . both boy and girl are gift of God and no one have a right to judge a gender . I love my baby very much but it doesn't mean that I support a gender system . Babies r so cutie 🥰

A child is always precious be it is a boy or girl....I believe that both have different skills and exposures and both are unique the way they are. It’s all the matter of their upbringings. In today’s scenario they both r important for us. I am a mother of baby boy and I love to have a girl as well .

Hello all
We are two daughters . The love the care our parents have given us is always more than a son and they have proudly raised their two daughters without what society thinks back then 30 yrs . After both of our marriage we think they are left all alone i am not saying suppose even if we have a brother and he is not living with my parents then even they are left alone whatever we as daughters are 24*7 with them but all the time it is not possible for us as married daughters . But With a son they have the right over one person they can call or stay with him .
Lets think this way what the society says it is different .
