Your child will not be able to carry on a conversation yet, but don’t be surprised if he’s starting to mimic you on the phone with his toy phone. You can also catch him imitating the way you act behind the wheel of a car, cooking dinner, or cleaning the house. This is also when your child will want to explore the outdoors more. It is a good thing for a child to be curious; just ensure that he is safe and secure at all times.
