There Are a Few Things a Mom Can Only Dream Of
Having two kids in the house, I get to watch a lot of baby channels. Of course, not by choice but forcefully. Anyway, when I see the kids in those channels I really think that if my kids did even half of what these channels show, I will be so relieved. Some of the amazing things they do are:
1. The baby is seen happily eating broccoli, peas and some amazing boiled veggies in one go. Forget boiled, even if I purée it they won’t have it, and that face they make while eating! Most of the time I end up having those soups.
2. How the mom is so calm, super cool and perfectly dressed all the time. In my house If someone enters, they will immediately know that a crazy mom like me stays. Yes, that’s true.
3. The lovely father always taking care of kids and helping wife all the time and so much love all around. First I don’t understand why the father is at home all the time. Anyway, I don’t even get ten minutes with my partner. And most of that time is spent talking about the kids. And the love is only left for the babies. We do miss our ME time though.
4. The kids shown in these videos are so adorable, who eat on their own, play without fighting, listen to their parents, cleaning up their own mess. My elder one though now listens and does her own work. But only after a lot of nagging.
Sometimes these videos make you happy and sometimes put you in a dilemma that does something like this really exist?
I am not sure but till my kids grow up I have to keep watching these channels. I don’t remember when was the last time I got the remote in my hand. I hope one day I will become a mom who is calm and quiet and lovable!
